Richard M. Johnson (Dick), president, is a seasoned professional with 34 years of experience as a corporate communicator, writer and editor.
Dick counsels private and public companies in investor relations and corporate communications. He writes speeches, news releases, annual reports and brochures, Web content and articles. Dick is active in the National Investor Relations Institute and was president of the Kansas City chapter from 2003-06. He is a member of the NIRI BioPharma Roundtable, KansasBio, PRSA, American Finance Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.
Before launching this firm in 1997, Dick was director of investor and media relations for a global pharmaceutical company, Hoechst AG, and a veteran of Marion Merrell Dow Inc. in Kansas City. Dick earned a BA in Economics from Princeton and an MBA in Finance & Management from Rockhurst. He completed the University of Michigan executive seminar in investor relations in 2008.
Based on 17 years as an award-winning reporter and editor for The Kansas City Star, Dick understands how the news media work. He is active in new media as well and writes a blog called IR Cafe for investor relations professionals.
Jacqueline M. Johnson, vice president, is a Registered Nurse and focuses on healthcare communications and business development.
